World premieres at High End Vienna 2026

At High End Vienna 2026, Audio Group Denmark unveiled three significant additions to its portfolio: the new Børresen A-Series loudspeakers, the Børresen BM2 bass module, and the Aavik U-301 unity amplifier.

Børresen A-Series

The new Børresen A-Series introduces the A1, A2 and A3 loudspeakers, bringing key Børresen technologies and design philosophies into a more accessible range.

Positioned between the existing X- and C-Series, the A-Series combines advanced engineering, refined cabinet construction and Scandinavian design traditions to deliver a natural, open and highly coherent musical presentation. The cabinets are available in satin walnut and satin black ash finishes, inspired by Scandinavian furniture craftsmanship while also paying homage to the previous Børresen 0-Series.

At the heart of the A-Series is the in-house developed Børresen DCC5 Neo driver technology, featuring a multi-layer diaphragm construction with an aramid honeycomb core and carbon fiber skins for an exceptionally stiff and lightweight structure. The
series also incorporates the Børresen RP94 ribbon tweeter, operating from 2.5 kHz upward with an ultra-low moving mass designed for exceptional speed and transient response. Together with the controlled rear venting system and Børresen’s 2.5-way crossover philosophy, the A-Series is engineered to deliver speed, transparency, natural
vocals and a highly cohesive soundstage.

As with all Børresen loudspeakers, resonance control and mechanical grounding remain central to the design philosophy, with the A-Series developed to work in synergy with Ansuz Darkz resonance-control devices. All models are designed and assembled in Aalborg, Denmark, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, precision and musical realism.

Børresen BM2

The new Børresen BM2 bass module brings our folded dipole bass technology into a more compact and accessible design.

Developed as a smaller counterpart to the BM3, the BM2 carries over the same core philosophy of creating low-frequency reproduction that feels fast, natural and fully integrated with the music rather than simply adding more bass output.

The compact enclosure houses two 10-inch drivers working within the folded dipole architecture, allowing the BM2 to deliver deep and controlled bass performance while maintaining exceptional speed, precision and musical coherence.

Unlike conventional sealed or ported bass systems, the folded dipole design operates without traditional enclosure pressurization, helping to minimize room interaction and reduce the boominess and listening fatigue often associated with low-frequency reproduction. This approach allows the BM2 to produce a more open, effortless and natural bass presentation while integrating easily into a wide range of listening environments.

The BM2 also incorporates integrated Class-D amplification and analog crossover topology, making it self-powered and easy to integrate with virtually any stereo setup.

Rather than focusing purely on bass quantity, the BM2 is designed to preserve timing, transparency and overall musical flow, allowing it to work naturally alongside a wide range of loudspeaker systems.

Aavik U-301

The Aavik U-301 is a new unity amplifier that combines streamer, DAC, preamplifier and power amplifier technologies within a single chassis.

Building on the foundation established by the original Aavik U-300, the U-301 continues Aavik’s approach of reducing system complexity while maintaining high-end performance and musical coherence throughout the entire signal chain.

Developed and assembled in Aalborg, Denmark, the U-301 is designed as a fully integrated solution where each stage works together as one optimized system rather than as separate externally connected components.

Built around an advanced Class-D amplification platform derived from the Aavik I-x88 series, the U-301 delivers up to 2 x 600 watts into 4 Ω, combining high efficiency with substantial current delivery and precise loudspeaker control.

The amplifier also incorporates Ansuz-derived noise reduction technologies, resonant-mode power supply technology and mechanical grounding principles developed throughout the Audio Group Denmark ecosystem.

Visually, the U-301 follows Aavik’s minimalist Scandinavian design language, combining refined aluminium detailing, integrated cooling structures and a large front display interface in a clean and understated form.
